WHAT WE DID ON OUR HOLIDAYS

Saturday 28th September, 7:45pm
Broadstairs Food Festival

Hello feasters!

We are so excited about our first collaboration with the Broadstairs Food Festival and can’t wait to celebrate the end of summer with a glorious feast. Expect beautiful ingredients from our Kentish coast, with dishes inspired by our summer holiday adventures.

Firstly, you need tickets and some important information to keep you all safe, happy and knowing what to expect. Please read this carefully before booking your place.

TICKETS

There is no limit of tickets per transaction on this occasion.

LOCATION

The feast will take place on the site of the Broadstairs Food Festival, Victoria Gardens - Broadstairs CT10 1QL, once the festival is closed to the public. For a smooth service, we politely request that all guests arrive by 7:45pm sharp.

SEATING

Our feasts are sociable events, therefore tables are communal and there is no seating plan arranged. This means that, once the dining area is open to guests, you can sit wherever you want.

FOOD

As always, the menu will remain secret until guests take their seats.

This feast is fish and seafood based, accompanied by seasonal fruit and vegetables. All of our ingredients are locally sourced.

The ticket price includes a welcome drink and seven courses of food, served both individually and family style to keep the communal spirit that has proven so popular at our previous feasts.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AND ALLERGENS

The sharing nature of this event does mean that we won’t be able to accommodate any dietary preferences or substitutions, though we’ll be in touch with ticket holders to check there are no severe allergies. This event is also unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans. With adequate notice we will be able to accommodate guests with gluten or dairy intolerances.

During the preparation of the menu, there may be the presence of celery, cereals containing: gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and tree nuts.

So, whilst every dish is freshly prepared, there is still a risk of cross-contamination. If you are still uncertain, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for further information before booking any tickets.

DRINKS

Whilst your welcome drink is included in the ticket price, additional drinks will be available to buy on the night. We’ll have a selection of carefully chosen wines and bubbles, as well as non-alcoholic options, available during the meal. We will only accept card payments on the night.

KIDS AND PETS

These events are adult-only, so no children or pets are allowed this time. Furthermore, the meal is served on long tables so expect a sociable, communal and sharing dining experience.

ACCESSIBILITY

The event is outdoors and on grass. Matted flooring runs the length of the covered walkways. However, you will need to be able to make your way over grass at the site entrances and between the marquees. Whilst there may be pathways, there are no hard-standing paths around the Event site itself so some areas of site may be tricky to traverse in adverse weather conditions.

Doors will open at 7:45pm sharp. The nature of our events means that the whole experience will start together, so punctuality will be key. Please do your best to be on time, otherwise it can hold up service for everyone.

We can’t wait to see you around the table.

Thank you,

The Foreign Embassy.
